La Sagesse

La Sagesse is a beautiful beach off the beaten path. For me it is what a topical beach should be, palms bending over toward the sea and waves crashing into the shore.

To get to LaSagesse, you could take a bus toward Grenville and get off at the LaSagesse junction, but you are going to walk in at least a kilometer with all your gear. If there is more than one person going it is probably better to either rent a car or hire a taxi. The car rental will be cheaper but you need to feel comfortable driving on the left. The drive down the Eastern coast is a lot less panic inflicting than the drive up the west coast.

LaSagesse has a small boutique hotel so you can get a lunch and pay to rent a boggie board or a lounge chair I think $10 XCD.

We took the road just before LaSagesse and hiked down to a secluded beach that was also beautiful but apparently this are can have thieves. So if you opt for this you should definitely go as a group and not alone or even as a couple.

The beach beside LaSagesse, as well as roads you can walk out to with amazing views of the coast line.

This tanker was near where we were able to walk to to views of the coast.
