NEWLO is doing amazing job with what resources they have. I am amazed at the ability of the staff and students to accomplish so much with so little.
One thing they have little of is computers. Currently the only departments who have a computer for the teacher are the two IT programs they run. Not only that their computer lab has probably 20-25 monitors but only four computers that the students can use!
So if anyone has an old computer in their basement collecting dust, let me know because the students can refurbish it. Once we get the kids computers we can work on getting the staff computers!
My mom is willing to pick up computers from anyone who wants to donate in the greater Quinte Region.
